The small print

Policies

How ordering works, what happens if plans change, and what we do with the handful of details you give us. Written to be read, not to be survived.

Call (505) 585‑5433, write to DoughOfEnchantment@gmail.com, or use the contact page. Someone with flour on their hands will answer.

Ordering and pickup

Orders are placed and paid for on the order page, for a Saturday or Sunday morning slot you choose. Ordering for each weekend closes Thursday at 8:00pm, so we can shop for your ingredients and bake everything fresh.

Collect at the front door at the time you picked. Please come within a few minutes of it — the boxes sit out waiting for you, and fresh is the whole point. If you are running late, call and we will keep it back for you.

If an order is not collected and we cannot reach you, we will hold it until the end of that morning. After that we cannot keep it.

Everything is baked in a home kitchen under New Mexico's Homemade Food Act. One kitchen means wheat, eggs, dairy and piñón are all in the air. We cannot promise a severe allergy is safe here, and we would rather say so plainly than have you find out.

Changes, cancellations and refunds

Plans change. If you need to cancel or change an order, tell us at least 24 hours before your pickup time and we will refund it in full.

Inside 24 hours we have usually already bought the ingredients or started baking, so we cannot promise a refund — but ask. We would rather sort something out than have you not ask.

If something is wrong with what you collected, tell us that same day and we will put it right, either a refund or a replacement, whichever you would rather.

Refunds go back to the card you paid with. How quickly it appears on your statement is up to your bank, not us.

Your details

When you order we ask for your name, your email, your phone number if you would like to give one, whether you would rather be told by text or email when it is ready, what you ordered, the pickup time you chose, and anything you wrote in the notes. The contact form asks for a name, an email, a phone number if you want us to call, and your message. If you sign up for the weekly email, we keep your email address to send it to you, and take it off the list whenever you ask. If you join the Ice Wolves text list, we keep your name and your mobile number, to text you on days we bring cookies to practice, and take you off it whenever you ask - reply STOP to any of our texts. That is the whole list.

Your card details never touch this website. Payment is handled by Stripe on their own pages, and all we ever see is that a payment succeeded and the last few digits of the card. Messages, sign-ups and order confirmations reach us by email through a service called Formspree. After you pay, we email you a confirmation and, later, a note that your order is ready, through a service called Resend. If you asked to be told by text instead, that text comes from our own phone.

There are no advertising cookies on this site, no analytics, and no tracking pixels. The map on the contact page is provided by Google Maps, which sets its own cookies when it loads. Nothing you give us is sold, shared, or used to follow you anywhere else. We keep order records for as long as the business and our tax filings need them.

If you would like to know what we hold about you, or would like it deleted, email us and we will do it.
